Churches in the Carrick area will have special services on Christmas Eve. Through the holiday season, carols will be sung, there will be meals and prayer services, and a giving tree makes presents available.

In its heyday, St Basil the Great Church was one of the largest parishes in the Pittsburgh Diocese. Time has changed that, yet St Basil Church continues to play its role in the Carrick community.
